These new products include two bronze alloys, and one naval brass.

Cu485-18 is a Naval Brass containing 60.8% Cu and 36.5% Zn with 1.76% Pb and has certified compositions for an additional 10 elements including Al, As, C, Cd, Fe, Mn, Ni, Sb, Si and Sn.

The corrosion resistance of naval brasses is important for their application in salt water.

Cu932-18 is a bearing bronze containing 81.2% Cu 6.82% Sn  and 7.95% Pb with 3.44% Zn.  This reference material is also certified for an additional 14 elements including Ag, Al, As, Bi, C, Cd, Co, Fe, Ni, O, P, S, Sb and Se.  These all to help provide the balance between being easy to machine while still allowing for the low wear required for this common bearing alloy.

Cu544-18 is a phosphor bronze containing 88.0% Cu, 0.069% P, and 4.14% Sn.  This reference material is also certified for an additional 4 elements including Fe, Ni, Pb and Zn, plus indicative values for an addition 25 elements. Compared to most brass alloys, phosphor bronze is harder, with better corrosion and fatigue resistance, and better elasticity. This bronze is a UNS C54400
