New Reference Materials for December 2019

Here at ARMI | MBH we are excited to report that we have completed the integration of MBH Analytical into our Manchester, NH facilities.  Throughout the integration the teams have continued to develop new products for the combined portfolio of metal alloy reference materials. Now as we begin December, I am pleased to introduce 7 new CRM products.

These new products include one cast iron, two high phosphorous cast irons, one low alloy steel, two stainless steels and a Monel 450, CDA 715 copper- nickel alloy.

 

11X C6 is a cast iron containing 3.8% C and 0.81% Si and has certified compositions for an additional 24 elements including S, P, Mn, Ni, Cr, Mo, Cu, Al, Ti, V, Co, Nb, W, Sn, As, B, Sb, Pb, Bi, Zn, Se, Te, Ag, and N.

 

11X HPC4 and 11XHPC3 are two high phosphorous cast iron reference materials containing 3.48% and 3.24% C respectively and 1.7% Si and 1.7% Si respectively.  These reference materials are also certified for an additional 8 elements including S, P, Mn, Ni, Cr, Mo, Cu, and V.

 

12X 357 is a low alloy steel containing 0.321% C, 0.211% Si, 0.212% Cr and 0.188% Ni.  This reference material is also certified for an additional 19 elements including S, P, Mn, Cu, Mo, Co, Sn, Al, W, Ti, V, Pb, Nb, As, Bi, Se, Sb, B and Zr.

 

13X 12854 is an austenitic stainless steel containing 15.56% Cr and 11.38% Ni.  This reference material is also certified for an additional 17 elements including C, Si, S, P, Mn, Mo, Cu, Co, W, Nb, Ta, Ti, Zr, Sb, Bi, B and N.

 

13X 14211 is a stainless steel containing 24.48% Cr and 12.64% Ni and is certified for an additional 14 elements including C, Si, S, P, Mn, Mo, Cu, Co, V, Nb, Ta, W, Ti and Al.

 

Cu715-18 is a Monel 450 grade CDA 715 copper- nickel alloy containing 67.4% Cu and 31.0% Ni and is certified for an additional 10 elements including C, Mg, S, Co, Mn, Si, Sn, Fe, P, and Ti.

These products are all available as 38-40mm diameter disks appropriate for analysis by XRF, Optical Emission, LIBS, GDMS and GD-AES. These products are also available as chips for analysis by ICP-OES.
