Our Mission

The Analytical Reference Materials International (ARMI) Inter-Laboratory Analysis Program (ILAP) originated as and remains today the only totally "voluntary organization" in private industry dedicated to production and development of quality Certified Reference Materials (CRMs).  The ILAP is the classic example of industry working together for a common goal.  It is comprised of wonderfully dedicated people who are experts in the analysis of metals and metal alloys.

Company Profile

ARMI was founded in 1984.  From inception, the primary objective has been to develop and implement an industry acceptable system for the chemical characterization and certification of metal alloy materials that would afford the scientific community an unequivocal level of confidence.  Equally important is our desire that the resulting certified data results be traceable to national and/or international certifying bodies with emphasis on our own National Institute of Standards & Technology, NIST.

Product Warranty

Analytical Reference Materials International Corporation warrants the products it produces to be free of defects and fit for purpose. Furthermore, the Company warrants its products to perform in accordance with their respective certificate of analysis.
If a product is found to be defective, the Company will, at its total discretion only, either replace that product or refund the full cost of that product. The Company’s liability is strictly limited to the price paid for that product and no other liability is implied or expressly assumed.
In addition, the Company assumes no liability whatsoever for any third-party item it markets and/or sells. That item’s original manufacturer is totally liable for the performance of that product and should be looked to solely for any claim for recovery, either real or perceived.
