Our MissionThe Analytical Reference Materials International (ARMI) Inter-Laboratory Analysis Program (ILAP) originated as and remains today the only totally "voluntary organization" in private industry dedicated to production and development of quality Certified Reference Materials (CRMs). The ILAP is the classic example of industry working together for a common goal. It is comprised of wonderfully dedicated people who are experts in the analysis of metals and metal alloys. Company ProfileARMI was founded in 1984. From inception, the primary objective has been to develop and implement an industry acceptable system for the chemical characterization and certification of metal alloy materials that would afford the scientific community an unequivocal level of confidence. Equally important is our desire that the resulting certified data results be traceable to national and/or international certifying bodies with emphasis on our own National Institute of Standards & Technology, NIST.
